TV mounting seems simple until you care about the details.

1) Viewing height

A common target is eye level near the center of the screen when seated. But the “right” height depends on:

  • Seating distance
  • Screen size
  • Whether the TV is above a fireplace

2) Correct anchors and structure

Drywall alone is not enough. Professional installs confirm:

  • Stud locations and spacing
  • Wall material (wood studs, metal studs, masonry, etc.)
  • The right fasteners for the surface

3) Leveling and alignment

A few millimeters matter. We verify:

  • Level, plumb, and centering relative to the room
  • Tilt/position to reduce glare

4) In-wall cable concealment

If you want a clean look:

  • Use an in-wall rated kit and a safe power plan
  • Keep signal cables separated from power where appropriate
